Title: Direct visualisation of the quantum vortex lattice structure, oscillations, and destabilisation in rotating 4He

Abstract:
The seminar will focus on quantum vortices in superfluid helium-4, their role in superfluid dynamics, and energy dissipation. Mathieu Gibert will present experiments visualizing vortex structures, validating Feynman’s rule, and exploring the transitions from collective wave modes to quantum turbulence. This research offers valuable insights for refining theoretical models of quantum fluids.
